VP Sales and MarketingMarc Hall joined E-Closing in 2006 and his only prior experience with the Land Title Industry was during the home buying process a few months earlier. Before E-Closing, Marc worked in management overseeing the shipping department of one of the nation’s premier wholesale greenhouses. Marc’s formal education was in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Finance. His background has been instrumental in helping E-Closing grow from a startup in 2004 to an industry leader today. When Marc is not assisting our clients he enjoys playing the guitar, golfing, playing indoor soccer, and spending time with his wife and three children. The only family pet is a resilient goldfish named Raspberry.
Mid-Atlantic Territory ManagerChristine McFadden joined E-Closing in 2015 and brings over 25 years of experience in the Land Title Industry. Chris began her career as a real estate paralegal in Virginia and then went on to work for a major title insurance underwriter. During her career Chris has served as a Branch Manager of a direct operation, Agency Sales Representative, a Senior Agency Technology Consultant, and now manages sales for E-Closing in the Mid-Atlantic. When Chris is not assisting our clients she enjoys playing the piano, downhill skiing, playing tennis, horseback riding and spending time with her two daughters. Along with her daughters, Chris’s family includes a Pembroke Welsh Corgi (named Penny) and a horse (named Bach).
Territory ManagerKurt joined E-Closing in 2013 to develop the FL and Southeast markets for the company. Prior to E-Closing, Kurt spent over 15 years in both the lending and real estate side of the business working as a manager for a top wholesale lender and managing his own real estate investment business. Kurt’s formal college education was in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Marketing. Kurt’s charitable work includes acting as an Ambassador for the Navy SEAL Foundation and directing an annual open water swim and fundraising event which raises money for the Foundation. When not assisting clients, Kurt enjoys running and open water swimming and can usually be found paddling on the water or exploring the outdoors with his wife and three children.
Inside Sales ManagerSharon Chase joined E-Closing in 2013 and brings over 20 years of experience in the Banking Industry. During her career she has held positions in lending, real estate settlement and wealth management. Sharon has worked for several financial institutions, law firms and title companies. When Sharon began at E-Closing she was responsible for training new clients and making sure that they had an excellent onboarding experience. Sharon now manages our New England sales territory as well as Inside Sales. When Sharon is not assisting our clients she enjoys mountain biking, hiking, downhill skiing, traveling and spending time with her family.
E-Closing is a product of iMarc, Inc., a software development company located in Pembroke, NH. iMarc has been in business for over 20 years and has developed proprietary software applications and systems for companies which include small local businesses as well as national Fortune 500 companies. Several of iMarc’s early clients were local title companies who contracted with iMarc to develop add-on applications to their early title processing systems.
In 2002 iMarc began working with several New Hampshire title companies to design and develop a web-based title processing system. This project was known as “ITS”, short for “Intelligent Title Software” and was ready for production in early 2004. Shortly after releasing ITS, iMarc acquired the rights to the E-Closing trademark and has referred to its flagship product as E-Closing ever since. Over the next couple of years iMarc worked with a handful of early adopters to further develop E-Closing before releasing it to the general public. In 2006 iMarc hired a full-time sales person to sell and market E-Closing Nation-wide. Due to a poor housing market this was not the ideal time to start such an endeavor but iMarc persevered through the housing bubble and gained market share throughout the “great recession”.
E-Closing is now used by thousands of title companies and law firms across the country and continues to add hundreds of accounts each year. E-Closing continues to add to its Sales and Support staff as demand for its products and services grow. E-Closing is now the premier cloud-based title production system in the Land Title Industry and is the most experienced in its space. As regulatory and compliance requirements change, along with the increasing threat of cyber security breaches, E-Closing uses this experience to help educate and protect its clients.
